"Be Gracious to Me" is based on Psalm 41 and Jesus' sacrifice for our forgiveness. Though we don't deserve it, Jesus suffered and died so we could have eternal life. Now, during Lent, we thank Him, remember Him, and ask Him to continue to be gracious to us.
